Okay, so I was a bit caught on the curious side as I have heard the name MONS VENERIS, this raw black metal came from Portugal, which band members are cult unknown, full length album with eleven untitled tracks, not everyone has the leaning for such style yet I find this very accommodating, the chanting of old vocals is in a horror condition which indulge my ears to dig this Portugese black metal, although I really don’t understand the lyrics since it is chanted in their own dialect, but I’m really sure it is possessed by the unholy force of evil, MONS VENERIS doesn’t seem to mind at all, they cursed what pleases them and such style seems to provide them with an evilness that enables them to execute their very own mastery of filthy raw black metal, tracks nine and ten weren’t fail me for an excellent well-crafted ugly, nasty, filthy, raw black metal which is a highly recommended for those who are into noise and lo-fi… to abridge everything on this review MONS VENERIS is a two horns up!
